Isn't that the kid who had FSU as his leader and then put us on top around March or so?

Yeah that's him. He seems to be all over the map as far as his leaders go.

I realize he is Herschel's nephew and all, but I am perfectly fine with Jeb Blazevich. If Richard wasn't related to Herschel, none of us would even care he is going to Clemson.

Apparently Clemson pressured him a little. He didn't want to miss out like he did at UGA so he went ahead and committed

Georgia offers Dyshon Sims. Cousin of JHC. Not a year one starter but has potential I think. Could be a commit pretty soon

Dyshon should be a commit soon. I'm a big fan of the Valdosta kids. They play pissed off.

Have we resorted to offering unranked linemen?

It doesn't really matter if they are ranked or not with OL. Some of the highest ranked OL in high schools are just awful. Tyler Love was the best OL in high school in a generation and resorted to nothing in college. If memory serves, neither of the Stinchcombs were ranked lineman in HS and they turned out just fine. OL is a VERY subjective position to rank at the HS level, it doesn't mean the unranked guys are bad. They may have just slipped through the cracks.
ETA: Another case in point is Chance Warmack. Unranked in HS-first rounder after college. Now all of the sudden his brother is a nationally ranked OL. Does that make his brother better. I would say no; there is just more awareness for him now.

Sorry, I thought you were seriously asking that question. If I mistook your candid, tounge and cheek question; all apologies for taking a right turn to seriousville.

Nailed it. OL is one of those positions that more often than not rankings don't matter much. There are lots of examples of lesser known guys turning in to superstars, more than any other position on the field.

It's all good man. I agree with you and gatorhata9 100% about rankings out of high school, especially on the line.

I agree 110%. I could also argue the WR has a similar perception. We see a lot of highly touted HS WR do nothing at the next level. UGA is a perfect example, Marlon Brown and Wooten were top 100 players coming out of HS. I could argue that Michael Bennett and Chris Conley, both low 3*, made a bigger impact. We’ve never faired well with big time receivers, save AJ.

Amen. Unless you've got a can't miss Julio, AJ, Megatron type then it's all about how you develop.

[quote]- Freshman receiver Tramel Terry, who sat out spring practice after knee surgery, is head of schedule, according to a report athletic trainer Ron Courson provided the coaching staff. There's a possibility of Terry being able to run routes as early as July. Read more here: LINK ]
Would be great to have him available for Clemson.

I think there is less than a 1% chance of him goin against clemson

Coaches won't rush him. We're deep at WR and I can't see why we wouldn't redshirt him.

Anyone have any news on Rogers? At one point we were really high on him, only to back off. By backing off, I mean recruiting others at his position harder. I’ve heard rumors that he likes Tennessee a lot, but according to 247 UGA and Clemson are to the two favorites. 247 is forecasting him at 100% to the good guys
