Still have to call BS Chris your quote was players you only have one player ranked ahead of him by one spot.

It's not out of the realm of possibility that w/ a ACC Championship type of year, 4 or 5 Techies get drafted... w/ Attaochu & Jemea Thomas as the top players at their position.

Sucked it up last year and played for the Championship and coulda won that one .. Who knows.

I'm more interested in what players would start for UGA from gt

Jabari Hunt Days
Jemea Thomas
Isaiah Johnson
Louis Young

^ That's a Rambo/Branden Smith type of list

Not going to argue any of those points, but you don't have multiple players rated ahead of Sammy Watkins. No big deal just thought I would mess with you a little.

I understand. I'll give you heads up for being so gracious & then I'm out of this thread:

Don't buy into the GT QB hype... can't keep their feet on the ground when the ball is being thrown (major disappointment)

Will it be a 2 QB system this year? Will Thomas pass Vad?

Hell of an athlete. I could see him starting over Wilson or DeLoach.

Jemea Thomas

Louis Young

I don't see either one starting over Swann but probably Dawson.

Isaiah Johnson

Probably could start for us this year.

@KippLAdams: 4-star TE Milan Richard says he will commit June 4 to #Clemson #SouthCarolina #Vandy or #OleMiss
Damn. I guess Jeb took his spot and we're only taking one TE after all. Sucks considering who he's related to.

This one is interesting to me. Kipp always thought we had Milan higher on our board than Jeb. When it looked like Jeb wanted to commit, Jeb was higher all the sudden. Richard seems to be able to stretch the field more, but I really like Jeb. I wish we would have held the spot we gave Jordan Davis. We will probably regret not getting Richard.

Not sure how to feel about the Richards deal. I guess he should've pulled the trigger if wanted to come here, but then again be may have really just wanted to go somewhere else. Best of luck to him.

“They (Georgia) are only going to take one guy,” Richard told the AJC on Sunday night. “Me and Jeb are very close. And I think a lot of people forget the fact that even though we were both recruited by the same schools at the same position, we’re still good (friends). I have nothing against Jeb. We’re really close. (Georgia) got a great guy with Jeb.

“The whole time, Georgia had been saying that they were only going to take one guy at tight end,” Richard said Sunday. “I don’t know if anything has changed. If anything has changed, I’m sure they will let me know. As of right now, I only know that they are only going to take one guy. So that door has been closed.”

Via ESPN:

Richard did leave the door slightly cracked if the Bulldogs want to make a last second move and accept two tight ends. Georgia has until June 4 to do so. Richard will then announce his commitment.

Are we in a position to hurt ourselves elsewhere if they shuffle the board and make room for a 2nd TE?

We should keep it capped at 1 TE. The only way to take Richard, in my opinion, would be to 1) take him as WR/TE hybrid and use our other WR slot on him, or 2) pull Jeb's scholarship (which would be a massive mistake both PR wise and the fact Jeb is a better TE). I think Richard goes to Clemson.

Watson is the one that really hurts, though, because he's the only real playmaker out of that group. Kitt is a good WR but he's not an AJ Green/Julio Jones/Megatron type game changer and we're deep at WR; he didn't want to follow a deep WR class that we just brought in. Richard is a good TE and it would've been nicer due to his lineage, but Blazevich IS a better TE. Give me a future 2 deep at QB of Ramsey and Queen and I'll be happy, but Watson would a very nice prospect to have on the roster.

See, it's already starting... from Yahoo sports...

Herschel Walker’s nephew, a top tight end recruit, says no to Georgia

No mention that we don't have a spot for him, just that he said no to UGA when he narrowed his choices down to four...

Yeah, we all know that's a load of bullshite. I bet if we told him TODAY we want 2 TEs he would commit to us June 4.
