Bad attitude, drugs, grades, 3 schools in 2 years, etc. etc. etc.
He’ll go to Prep school if he’s smart to straighten out his life.

2 Big things coming on February 5th...we will also see a surprise before April 1st. We will lose a commit or two on NSD, but we will sign another 2 that will make dawgs happy. We will also get a recruit that signs later March, foregoing NSD because he is waivering. Things are going well on the trail with Pruitt. Asst coaches are NOT a concern for the recruits that are already committed to other teams.
Sorry for not letting the 2014 class thread die, but I felt we needed to revisit this, especially since so many folks gave IT shite about sharing what he'd read. Here's how it shook down, through the lens of hindsight and all...
Pickups: McKenzie(WR/KR/PR), Hunter Atkinson (TE), neither of whom were on our radar when this was posted. Got Carter, which confirmed many of our hopes & prayers.
Lost: Kendall Gant, because he apparently didn't know he needed to lern 2 reed gud.
Looks like your unnamed source on 247 was pretty darned close to the mark, IT. Let's see if he hits the trifecta by picking up somebody on the fence, between now and G-Day.

I posted this on the SECR recruiting board. Thought it was a good read for everyone and a nice way to finish off this thread:

Part of me is happy for this class and realizes that we are not top 5 because we didn't sign 30 guys. The other part of me keeps seeing us just inside of the top 10, which makes us about the 6-7th best recruiting class in the SEC. That is about how we have finished in the SEC most years lately. A little bit better than average in a 12-14 team league but nothing great.

I would agree with this, and counter with the statement that many of us have been frustrated on our defensive woes to this point and an apparent lack of coaching up the talent we've had coming in each year. Whether or not the new D staff can make good on that remains to be seen, but at least we're in a position to find out very soon, rather than just wishing for something to happen with a staff that clearly couldn't get it done. The team had a fully stocked kitchen, and we've been served PB&J for the last 4 years (save 2011).
