I see what you're saying, but Michel has alot more cutback ability than KM did coming out of high school. I think he will be better than Marshall. But Marshall is definitely good.

Speaking of which.. at the Atlanta NFCT today...

#UGA running back target Nick Chubb ran a 4.5 forty yard dash here at the #NFTC. Likely increased his SPARQ score to the 120 range.

Missing on Kamara, Jones, and Henry last year will not be a problem at all if we get Michel and Chubb.

It seems the coaching staff does have contingencies in place while we are all busy freaking out on NSD.

Caught this tweet about Nick Chubb.

quote:

Brian Stumpf: Nick Chubb is as good in pass pro as any back we've seen so far this year at #NFTC. More physical than any LB here

Us and UF are tied at the top for Lamont Gilliard. I expect us to move ahead once he realizes he has no position coach at UF.

We have arguably our best recruiter on him and Street...it'd be a nice get for Lilly.

I read the ESPN article, and while I didn't get the same message of a final 2 of UGA and Clemson, it would be a huge get.

Pretty impressive since I don't think Cedartown hardly ever passes the ball. I think their offense is Chubb left, Chubb up the middle and Chubb to the right.

Hood comes across as nice young man, very humble & well-spoken...

Note to UGA's recruiting staff...it is always helpful when a SA can remember the name of who's recruiting him...

How woudl this affect our standing with Richard? Are we one and done at TE or would we pursue both?

ETA; At TE next year we have RJr Rome, Jr Ty Smith, and So Jordan Davis

We're taking 1 TE this year...don't have room for 2. Blazevich is probably the better prospect at this point, but we definitely have an attatchment to Richard, as fans.

He said he's hearing from solid sources that there are several big targets about to "pop" for UGA. Said it could be tonight or several weeks from now, but we're starting to pick up steam.

Michel and Chubb are probably the two most likely candidates, followed by Shaw, Street (which would be fricking awesome), Sawyer, or maybe a '15 kid or two.

Alot of people on fsf think it's down to UGA and Clemson for Blazevich, while Ole Miss fans seem to think it is between them and Clemson. They say his grandfather played at Ole Miss. Most on fsf think he is headed to Clemson.
