Never really felt great about him. Seems to be in love with Ohio state. Not getting my hopes up on him at all.

He's loving OSU right now, but UGA needs to fix that. There are no excuses for missing on a kid like Macmillan. He is a self-professed UGA fan from rural Georgia.

we need to fortify our borders. not metaphorically either, i'm talking maginot line/atlantic wall around the state. except without the whole them not accomplishing their purpose thing
Posted on 2/7/13 at 12:41 pm to crispyUGA
if that moat is also fortified with SAMs and any other anti-aircraft weapons. we also need checkpoints at borders.
we need one of those creepy meme pics with the serial kilelr karate guy but with richt that says
"They said I couldn't lock down the state
So i locked down the state"

I may be in the minority but I'd rather get Tyler Harris than DeShaun Watson. They're both game changers though with a slight nod to Watson for being a big time playmaker but you can't go wrong with either.
Also, from the looks of it if we whiff on Harris he'll probably end up at Bama or another SEC school whereas Watson will probably stick with Clemson if he's not as impressed as he should be with us.

I believe his days as a Clemson commit are numbered. I firmly expect him to sign with UGA this time next year.

Well, that'd be perfectly fine with me.

Article kinda recapping the top 10 in state guys for peeps like me who haven't kept up too well...
1. Deshaun Watson, QB, Gainesville, 6-foot-4, 200 pounds. Committed to Clemson, but plans visits to Georgia, Ohio State, Oregon, Auburn, Tennessee, LSU, Florida State and USC.
2. Lorenzo Carter, DE, Norcross, 6-6, 230. Compared with former Norcross standout Adrian Hubbard, who now plays at Alabama. Carter has 22 offers, including Georgia Tech and Georgia.
3. Raekwon McMillan, LB, Liberty County, 6-3, 240. He’s already ranked as a five-star by Rivals and has more than 40 offers, with Ohio State as his early leader.
4. Dontavius Russell, DT, Carrollton, 6-3, 300. Early offers from Tech, Alabama, Florida and South Carolina.
5. Cortez McDowell, DB, Locust Grove, 6-2, 203. The speedy safety has 10 offers and got his most recent at Alabama’s Junior Day.
6. Nick Chubb, RB, Cedartown, 5-11, 210. Put up eye-popping numbers as junior, but no one knew he was legit until he starred in junior all-star game. Dozen offers, including Tech and Georgia.
7. Demarre Kitt, WR, Sandy Creek, 6-1, 180. Former UGA commit lists his leaders as Clemson, Auburn, Ohio State and Oregon.
8. Milan Richard, TE, Savannah Calvary Day, 6-3, 190. Herschel Walker’s nephew has offers from Tech and Georgia, and was visited by Yellow Jackets coach Paul Johnson last week.
9. Christian Harris, OL, Collins Hill, 6-5, 266. Has only a few small offers, but things will heat up this spring.
10. Bryson Allen-Williams, DE, Cedar Grove, 6-1, 215. Pass rusher has more than 20 offers, including Tech and Georgia.

In a down year by its standards, Georgia’s recruiting class was ranked 12th nationally by Rivals. In a down year by its standards, Tech’s recruiting class was ranked 84th. That’s the biggest spread between the programs over the past dozen years, and if you add it up – Georgia finishing 72 spots ahead in recruiting not three months after winning 42-10 – we have to ask:
When can Tech realistically expect to beat Georgia on the football field again?
Tech and Georgia finished 6-7 in 2010, both losing off-brand bowls to off-brand teams. Georgia has since gone 22-6 to Tech’s 15-12. On Dec. 1, 2012, both played for conference championships, but there the similarity ended: Georgia would be ranked No. 5 in the final Associated Press poll; Tech didn’t receive a vote.
