There's some suggestion by Scott Kennedy of Scout that UGA has not offered Jack, that Auburn put that out there to piss off Reuben in their favor

Rumor has it that Custis is the new offer and if he does flip, it be both a good pick up for us and a big blow to Tech.

If we lose out on AK getting him to flip will be a big get. I believe he is their top recruit in their class also it would piss them off so much

Don't get me wrong, I like our class. I made the desperate comment based on the three star WR from Michigan. I just saw that was not a real offer. I didn't know which Tech recruit we were talking about. I only saw him play in the state championship game. Ibhafe heard good things about him. Do you guys think he would be an upgrade over Ford?

Seems like the whole Jack offer may be a hoax perpetrated by somebody. Jack's family is claiming they have an offer. But Scott Kennedy of Scout is maintaining that UGA coaches don't know what they're talking about

Looks that way. Apparently there is some scuttlebutt that a person pretending to be Bryan McClendon called Jones and Jack extending non existing scholarship offers. Couple that with the fact that Bellamy is saying that UT is telling him that Grantham is going to the NFL, it looks like the staff is scarring someone out there.
