This kid is outta the blue tho... Oh Well, they know a hella lot more than me...

It looks that way. As far as being out of the blue, the staff must have had some contact with him the past few months to gauge interest. But like you said, they know more than me. In Richt we trust.

I have to say, I'm very impressed by Richt stepping up his game on the trail the last two years

I do think he got complacent for a whille. But there was alot of rumbling in the press and widely publicized "hot seat". He's worked hard to respond to those calls

Not much more you can ask from a guy

The offers just keep going...

Lets hope these are plan B guys and are not indicative of what the staff has heard on our top targets.

Pretty new here so don't take my word as gold, but I got sent this today by a very reliable friend who has followed uga every year.

"Richt's Day -

Richt, Bobo, and Friend fly to Lake City, FL to spend the morning with top tackle in the nation, Laremy Tunsil.

Meanwhile McLendon (Rb coach) is in Norcross visiting top RB in GA, Alvin Kamara.

After spending the morning in FL, Richt & Bobo fly to Norcross to eat lunch with Kamara.

After their afternoon visit they will fly back to Lake City to reunite with Friend, Lilly, Tunsil, and his mom.

After visiting the Tunsil family, Richt and Bobo fly BACK to Norcross to have dinner with the Kamara family."

If there is some truth in this, which I think there is, Richt & Co. are busting their arse. Lets hope everything goes well!

FWIW, on the ESPN live chat, Corey Long said he thinks UGA will land Kamara and Adams. I'm not sure if he was serious or picking at the person for spelling Kamara wrong.

Will Richt close the deal with both Alvin Kumara and Montravious Adams?

Corey Long (3:30 PM)

Yeah. Kumara, Adams. Yup, he's got them.

According to Jamie Newberg...

Adams to Clemson not likely it will most likely be a SEC school.

Besides UGA who else in it for Adams?

I think the WR probably has the most to read into; potentially it could mean that LeMay is looking questionable in terms of qualifying.

The offer to the kid out of Washington is just UGA hedging it's bet at RB. Ford is likely going to Auburn and the coaches probably don't know what Kamara will do so they offer a kid with ties to Georgia.

An update from Kipp on the Da'Mario Jones offer. He checked within the program and this kid DOES NOT have an offer from UGA. The word got out after his father told Michigan beat writers that UGA came by and offered. UGA did make a trip there, however no formal offer was ever extended to Jones.

So that settles that, I suppose.
