I haven't heard anything definitive, but some say he's doing better than he was over the summer. Hopefully he makes it.

Someone on facebook yesterday (bama fan who went to AU) a recent quote from Reuben that was something along the lines of, paraphrasing here, "I'd really love to stay close to home and be close to my child and my family. Family is so important to me. It'd also be really awesome to eat my mom's home cooking whenever I want"

I don't know if that's true or whatever, but if reuben did in fact say that it doesn't bode too well for us.

But as has been mentioned, we'll still finish strong anyway. Hell, I don't need much, give me Tunsil and either Adams/Johnson and I'll be happy. All 3 plus AK/Foster is just icing on the cake.

If there is one thing that I have learned over the past few years following recruiting in the social media age; it is to take what is posted on such sites with a grain of salt.

The trend all started with our very own Ray Drew, when he was a recruit out of TCC. The entire last month of his recruitment he was a twitter and facebook hound. He intentionally posted pro-Auburn and pro-Clemson stuff constantly, in an effort to throw people like ourselves off of the fact that he was a Dawg the entire time.

I say all of that to say, a lot of what gets posted on social media is for the benefit of message board fodder and to keep people talking about them. Nothing more.

Rueben Foster? who knows what is going on with him though. As you stated, I would love to see him in red and black though.

I think he stays at AU. Too much going on there for him to leave...family...committed there already...tattoo...I mean, besides troop leaving, and Ellis Johnson will be a MAJOR upgrade for AU, there is no reason for him not to go there. I'd say we have like a 10% chance of getting Foster. Kamara is a toss up, but most feel like its a Bama lock. I think we close with Tunsil and Johnson. Which is fine with me, but I feel less than 50% for the other 3.

The problem is compounded by the fact that you have guys - like you mentioned - like Ray Drew who are intelligent enough to troll everyone purpose. THEN, you have guys like Reuben who honestly seem to do things on a whim and live off of emotion. neither is necessarily the wrong or right approach (18 year olds can't be held to the same standards we might hold the CEO and main decision-maker of a company), but you, me, and everyone in this thread is probably pretty fricked in the head for following recruiting the way we do, given how unfulfilling the end results will likely be.

So Stephen A. Smith apparently said this morning that the most talked about recruit for UGA this year would commit before the month is up. I made a call and SAS is related to the baby's mom. Also found out it could be as early as this weekend.

FWIW in Radi Nabulsi's free chat on ESPN...

Michael (SC)

Did the visit with Tunsil this weekend make UGA a shoe in for him on NSD?

Radi Nabulsi (12:20 PM)

I have said for months I expect Laremy Tunsil to sign with Georgia. This weekend helped but I think the race was over a long time ago.

I would go nuts if Foster committed this weekend. I mean totally apeshite.

And then I would be worried for the next week and a half until NSD

Why people hang on his words is beyond me. He is never right. But he has hit an all-time low, stealing material off of the scout board:

I'm not saying his word is gospel, but the info he provides is at least fun to entertain and talk about

Durden, you're one of the better ranters, but come on. Anyone can hit on one every once in a while.

He also called Auburn getting involved with Foster long before Auburn was even in the picture(publicly).

I think you're missing the point, but that's okay this argument doesn't really mean anything. He has such a large enough sample size of predictions, that eventually he going to hit on some.

My point earlier was to show that he, along with others like BRB, steal information from paysites and the premium message boards. In the example above, pcbeachdawg posted the "Stephen A" information 5 days ago, so either the are the same poster or he is fishing on the scout board. I appreciate them passing that info along, but don't disguise it as inside knowledge.

The best part of the rant is we can agree to disagree and still voice our opinion. But IMO JHD is a fraud.
