Do we actually have a shot or are y'all just hopeful?

We have an OV. If we impress him, we have a shot. We've always been in his top 5 though.

I think we have a decent shot, I believe we have his last OV before signing day so that definitely helps out.

Honestly, I'd rather see us go after Crowder with that scholarship. We've got some really good OLB prospects next year.

Aren't we pushing hard for Alexander as well?

We had started to step up our recruitment of Alexander but I'm not sure we're really going "hard" after him. With Wiggins likely about to go, then I think we really need to push after him and give his bro the famous UGA Cootie-ship.

Yes. But it looks like we would have to offer his brother to land him.

Also, apparently Grantham was in Orlando last night to met with some of the Under Armor participants UGA is targeting, and he spent a lot of time with Matthew Thomas. I think it is safe to assume that Grantham and the staff had knowledge of the Mustafaa deal well beforehand.

What's the knock on his brother? I haven't seen any of his highlights, so just wonder.

Dude... I DVR'd the UA all american game and just watched it. We need to go balls to the wall for Thomas. He isn't just a great athlete, he is a football player and a playmaker.

He is... Jarvis Jones. Get him Grantham.

Thomas is fast as frick. He reads plays really well from what I saw in the AA game. He's a much faster Jarvis.

Don't think there really is a "knock" on Mac's brother. He just isn't the athlete Mackensie is. The situation for UGA is that Mackenro is a Safety, and as we all know the class UGA is bringing in is busting at the seams with Safeties so far. Should be interesting what the staff decides to do.

ETA: And yes, Matthew Thomas is the REAL DEAL!

We have room for 6 right now (not counting the possibility of Wiggins and Kennar Johnson abandoning ship)

So in those spots we can choose from:
Kamara
Thomas
Monty Adams
Toby Johnson
Tunsil
Crowder
Foster
Alexander
Alexander's bro

Throughout recruitment and watching highlights I've always compared MT to JHC 2.0 but after watching last night you can tell he's better. Just something about him, he would be a crazy-good snag on NSD.

Not shocked NM flipped but I didn't see OkSt being the school. Time to fill that spot up with a big target!

It's goin' to be a tight ride til Signing Day!

NSD should be even more fun to watch this year as a DAWG fan. Not going to class that day.

Thomas also carries his weight a bit better than JHC does/will. Thomas is 6'3 and 205, JHC came in at 6'5 207. Would be ecstatic to have both of them on the team. Both are fast, tall, and hit hard. In the mold of Ogletree.
