Not really sure, just heard the news and don't know much about the kid.

Keep up the good work Crispy. It has been a great read. Will Tunsil and Adams be in town for Gday?

Our coaches put a lot work into the 2013 class over the past 2 years and it seems to be paying off. We're landing a lot of quality guys early on.

Damn fine day for recruiting. We have a shite ton of schollies to offer and we are filling them with some very, very solid guys. Might I also add we're not even to friggin Dawgnight yet, and as Crispy said, Langely, Kitt, and potentially Wilkerson look to be next. Insane. I don't think UGA has ever jumped out this far ahead in recruiting before.
And I haven't heard anything on Tunsil or Adams for G-Day. Lot of mixed signals about Adams all of a sudden. Not sure what the deal is there

And now Kipp Adams is hinting at #15 coming!

Adams has been to campus a lot lately so I'm not sure he'll be there for G-Day, and I wouldn't count on Tunsil making it. Seymour will be there, though, and Cardellio will probably make it, as well.
I really just pass a lot stuff I hear along and I've had a lot of down time today to update the commit list and post rumors/news.

Cardiello could literally pull the trigger any minute. Also, Adams loves UGA but his family apparently doesn't feel the same way.

I really hope it isn't JP Vonashek...no offense to the kid, but we've already taken one project OL in Bynum and guys like Seymour, Devine, Tunsil, Cardiello, Crowder, and Kublanow are the guys we should be focusing on. Vonashek is about the same size as Xzavier Ward was when he graduated, but he's just not as talented as some other guys on the board and I wish we'd just waited to see how things would shake out. Guess Friend and Richt liked what they saw, though.

Well, it's being rumored that UGA is #3 behind Clemson and Auburn. Gee, wonder if Adams family has some pressing financial needs...
Now its being said JP Vonashek might have just commit on the spot after receiving his offer! Big OL out of Camden County (same as Bric and new commit JJ Green)

my thinking is it's a preure move on the other OL recruits. It has been said that Kublanow is a silent and will go public at Dawgnight. Seymour and Cardiello are apparently huge UGA leans, so I'm not too worried with offering Vonashek

I don't know if it's anything that nefarious, but a lot of times coaches will talk to the family (especially when they aren't accustomed to institutions of higher education) and say "oh well UGA isn't a good school but your boy would be set for life with a degree from my school even if he doesn't make it pro" and they believe it. Also, it could be that they just want him to get away from a bad situation or influences at home.

Good Olines and DBs are at the core of every Championship team. CTG and Will Friend are doing work.

true. Could be a country boy like Avery Young looking for that pasture land. I honestly trust Auburn more than i do Clemson. No reason on go'd green earth a recruit should seriously consider that pile of cow shite

That was the first thing that came to my mind, as well, and UGA could take 6-7 linemen in this cycle (I think we'll sign in the low 30's with a high number of EE's and a very small class last year). Seymour and Cardiello are essentially in the bag right now, but I'm starting to doubt the rosey picture painted about Kublanow. I still think we lead but I think that lead might be a lot smaller than some people think...and UNC apparently made a big impact on him this weekend.

Per Soc and others on LHB Kublanow and Seymour have all but committed, Cardiello is the one still making up his mind
Just FWIW, they have been wrong before

Just heard Vonashek would be ANOTHER EE...that'd be 8 or 9 so far.
Posted on 4/9/12 at 3:36 pm to crispyUGA
Can't remember if we've ever had that many EEs
Posted on 4/9/12 at 3:38 pm to tylerdurden24
Cardiello's relationship with Kolton Houston and his families proximity to Athens have him very, very high on UGA...more so than FSU.
Everyone and their brother is saying that Kublanow is a silent and I guess everyone can't be wrong but it's just a gut feeling about him that I have. It could be nothing, but I just think our coaches need to be careful and stay on top of his recruitment.
