God forbid any sort of injury to Gurshall, Boo's right back in the discussion. He'd be a fool to go elsewhere.

Well, we're probably going to bring on two very good RBs this year. Which could potentially put him 5th on the depth chart.

Wouldn't it serve us well to alternate RS seasons for Turman and/or Kamara? We got through this season with two regular RBs and Boo playing mop-up. Which of the incoming RBs do you think would contribute more first?

Nothing yet. It will be later tonight if anything happens. Probably won't hear anything until late tonight or tomorrow.

Redshirt Turman. Kamara is something we do not have. A legit runningback that is a legit WR threat. Talk about matchup nightmare.

Put him, Tramel Terry and Rumph on the field at the same time. Just straight nasty.

Never ever redshirt a RB.

Usually I would agree with you. However, Turman will not make an impact unless there are an insane amount of injuries. If that is the case, let him redshirt. Keep him around longer. Keeps us from having to play walkons like last year.

We can. When you've got the kind of talent now and coming in, we can afford to redshirt Turman. He's not an instant impact guy in any way. He's a serviceable runningback. Like Swin said, keep him on campus as long as we can so that should the worst happen, we don't have to play walk ons.

e.g., Knowshon Moreno...however, Turman's no Knowshon, a redshirt wouldn't hurt us with him like it did when Moreno hauled grass to the NFL

How do you know?

We didn't know Knowshon was Knowshon until it was too late.

I really hope Kamara doesn't RS we could really use him in the return game at the very least. No offence to McGowan but I would much rather have an athletic RB back returning kicks as opposed to a posession WR. Plus I think he will be better than Boo by the middle of next season

He could very well be better than Marshall by the middle of next season IMHO

Carvell will do his best to get Custis away from GT...he will call him every other day between now and signing day asking him if he will take a look at Bama, Auburn, UGA, etc..... What a dooshbag

Actually, having one of our speedier WR/RBs return kicks would be a tremendous asset. Might not suck to actually get return yardage on punts, too. It didn't take long for CMR to hand punt returns back to the designated white boy/ fair catch specialist in McGowan a la Logan Gray.
