I have defensive man-crushes on Shawn Williams, Ogletree, and Herrera is moving up the list. I think the dude is going to be a stout linebacker for us. Pumped with how good he was as a true freshman.

Murray's numbers were actually pretty damn good.

20-25 for 253 yards, TD's and no INT's.

Gurley ran 6 times for 54 yards and a TD. (Has 199 yards and 4 TDs on 19 carries in scrimmages), Malcome added 50 yards on 6 carries.

Listen, Auburn isn't doing anything wrong, guys. We can bitch and bicker and argue about who got paid what and who Auburn's bagmen are, but it doesn't change the fact that Chizik has built something special on the plains. #1 it's the only program in the nation that REALLY feels like a family. If every single Auburn commit and poster on SECr rant says so, then it has to be true. #2, they're ALL IN. You think UGA or LSU are all in? Uh-uh. Those guys might be out doing 2-days and acting tired but they aren't ALL IN. Auburn is the only team out there totally focused on a championship. ALL IN, mother fricker. #3, Gene Chizik and his staff are men of God; everyone is a two bit phony heathen. Chizik communes with Jesus every morning when he gets up for at least 30 minutes, while he squeezes out last night's supper on a gold plated toilet that was given to him by the angel Meroni. On that toilet is written the true gospel and story of Jesus. "In May, 1865, when times were at their darkest in Alabama, God sent his only son down to rescue his faithful. Jesus rode down to small town named Auburn. He rode in on tiger with the wings of an eagle and the face of a plainsman (this is why Auburn has 3 nicknames). When he touched down, he delivered a sermon to the downtrodden people and said unto them "you shall build a University here, and it shall be good." But the crowd said "Lord, you're gonna piss off Satan, in Tuscaloosa!" Jesus replied to them "lolwut? Auburn will be the way, the truth, and the light; no one will get to the father unless they cheer for and/or play for the tigerseaglesplainsmen." He was turned over to Bear Bryant by TJ Yeldon, was crucified, died and was buried. He rose again after 3 days and left Cam Newton as his emissary on Earth. WDE." Who's going to argue with a gold toilet inscribed with the story of Jesus? #4 Chiz is a great coach and has a national title. Sure, he might have had a losing record at ISU and every season outside of 2010 has been pedestrian, but 2010 was a great job of coaching...by Chizik, not Malzahn. The fact that they went undefeated and still gave u 30+ ppg shows Chizik's coaching acumen.

We just can't compete with that.

I bogarted the shite out of that joint, dude.

Also, Richt all but named Boo the starter at RB today. I expect Gurley to get just as many in the first few games, though.

I wasn't so much high as I was just really bored. I had finished my run out at the barn and my gf was still teaching a riding lesson, so I spent the next 10-15 minutes writting that out. Maybe it was the runner's high?

Another video to get you pumped about the season. Really well done, not just random youtube clips mashed together. High quality.

ETA: Also I hope we get new pregame music. Nickelback just doesn't do it for anyone. The Who still gives me chills every time I hear it but for the hype video, we need something not completely terrible.

Nickleback is terrible and I'm embarrassed we use it. It seriously needs to be killed with fire. Playing a piece by Yanni would be better.

As much as I like The Who, Baba O'Riley is kind of "meh" when it comes to getting me pumped up.

We've GOT to get new pregame music.

meh. Sorry but those are cliche. We need to consult whoever runs the music and video operations for Auburn. They know what they're doing.
