It's a hybrid SS/OLB position in the 4-2-5 I believe. JHC can backup up in coverage at SS or creep up and pursue/stop the run at OLB depending on what CTG calls/audibles. Supposed to give more confusing looks to the QB. This is a rough description of what I've read, crispy might be able to give you a better analysis.
ETA: Bottom line CTG does want JHC on the field more like JStan said and has said that he loves his 6'5 frame and that it's perfect for this so called "star" position.

That is much better than my explanation. I like that JHC is the freak that everybody thought he was when he signed. He is going to be a good one.

From what I've gathered, it's similar to USCe's "Spur" position.

I wish I could say it was for something awesome. In all reality I forgot to read the sticky on the olympic board about not posting results because of the time delay in the thread title. This was the first couple of days and I hadn't paid too much attention to the olympics and I posted a result I got off a twitter feed. I was suspended until the closing ceremonies.

Yessir you did well . Now that I think about it I may get banned after we skull drag souf curralina or Mizzou just because of their instance that they're our equals

I have a feeling the SEC Rant will thin down a little bit once the season starts. I've not really been a part of it during a season. I just used to come here to check out the fark board and recently started posting on other forums. I'm sure it can get a little out of hand.

It's actually a hell of a lot more enjoyable once the season begins. But that damned Cam, Fairley, Updyke travesty gave the typical season on the SECr an extra twist
