Should have never been down that much to Tech.
Granted HM looked great in the comeback, but what about the first 2 1/2 qtrs... same with the bowl game.

Can't survive the season if he continues to be a late player, we need a qb that can go the whole 9 innings, not just a closer.

Murray started poorly in every big game for three years straight and you guys can't get off his nuts.

How many missed tackles did mason have to let them get to 20?

Probably because he's the best quarterback to ever play at UGA.

Highly....would be close to no doubt if we won one of those SECCG, though.

So you can use the argument that Hutson isn't very good because he started slow in two starts but Aaron's the best QB ever to play at Georgia when he had the exact same problem for three whole seasons? Doesn't compute.

I'm not making any arguments about Hutson. I was just responding to the guy making a comment about Murray.

Zero Conference titles sums it up pretty nicely.

I thought Murray was clutch, a great player. You guys weren't the same team without him.

That was me. And it was because someone used that argument to say Mason wasn't very good when Murray had the same problems. For THREE years.

Not only did Mason miss a lot of tackles in the first half, but his pass coverage completely sucked.

Dude needs to step up his defense this year if he wants to win some games.

Lets not forget the fact that its also in our house with a revamped defense. Scoring points should not be a problem for us this year. While our QB play might drop a tad, the rest of the offense should be the same or better. We have the backs to open up the passing game against anybody. The question is the defense imo...will they be improved...how much? ...will they play the ball and get some TO's? I mean it will all be speculation until game day. Offseason sucks.

I remember the consensus here just 2 1/2 months ago, mason showed us all what we wanted to see.

As for the GT deficit and mason in that first half, i again point to theus. Also remember gt had a very highly ranked defense.

Only problem with defense was secondary, the front 7 was nasty last year.

And if he had any semblance of a defense he'd have a natty.
