I haven't followed his recruitment, but it seems like we got in this one late. I think we have more than a 50% chance at signing him tho.

5-star Isaiah Gibson is hoping to visit Texas this weekend. Texas has to work logistics out with the coaching staff, as the Longhorns play UGA, where he is committed. As a result, UT pushes for another weekend on the calendar for him to visit instead.

TBD on Burke.. he may go to the draft with Sorrell. He has the frame.
LeFau manning the middle really helps the defense by being able to move Hill around all over the field.. Him and Simmons are a nightmare for offenses.

Walter Mathis Jr., from Savannah (Ga.) Calvary Day has moved his visit date from this weekend to a date to be determined in November.
This was at the request of the UT staff, who wanted to be able to spend more time with him, one on one
Georgia DT Kevin Wynn (6'2, 320 lbs) will not be making a visit to Texas this weekend as of today. UT staff wanted him to bring both parents on his visit and dad can't make it this weekend. They are working to reschedule a visit. He will announce Dec. 4
DL commit Joseph Mbatchou has arrived in the ATX for his official visit

Scout’s Take: “From an arm talent perspective, Texas commit Dia Bell is as good as anyone in the 2026 cycle. He’s the definition of a natural thrower. His ability to manipulate the football and throw consistently catchable footballs from multiple arm angles is a treat to watch. He can dice up defenses on Friday evenings and makes special throws. He’s someone that has ton of upside especially as he develops and fills out his frame down the line.”

Very positive experience with Texas from Javion Hilson.
Doesn't care about NIL.
Cares about relationships, how he'll be used, and academics. We may have another 5* lock.
