I’ve got to say I’m more excited about the game this weekend than I’ve been excited about a football game in a very long time

Would be a great opportunity to kill LSUs season, put the final nail in BKs coffin and win back to back against them for the first time in our sec tenure.

Kelly isn’t going anywhere this year unless he goes winless the rest of the year. 6-6 and he still gets one more year
Just like Arkansas, it’s gonna be a tough game

Same.
Also... I like to check Stubhub for tickets. 2 weeks ago at Tiger Stadium tickets were 20-40% more than they are now. Plenty of seats available.

I couldn’t stand sitting next to the drunken LSU fans that would come with Aggies to Kyle Field and these were well-behaved relatively speaking people sitting on the 45 yard line on the west side with us
No way am I putting up with the behavior at Death Valley
I’ve got a buddy that’s class of 63 or something like that and he tell stories of fans gathering around the Corp of cadets/band buses and rocking them trying to flip them over, and almost accomplishing it, throwing bricks and crap at them
If you read some of the threads on the tiger where I am not allowed to post, there’s a lot of talk about shootings and gangs all around the stadium on game nights as well
Now I’d love to get a ticket to head up to Missouri
Our last game in the big 12 was something else as well, but the Longhorn fans there at Kyle Field knew that they would get their asses beat if they spoke up even on the west side, they filed out of that stadium as quietly and respectfully as humanly possible, saying things like good game to everyone as they left
It was a powder keg, and there were lots and lots of very upset and angry Aggies and they knew it

LSU got physically pushed around at Vandy. So they will have had an arse chewing. LSU will be playing like their hair is on fire.
On the flip side, Elko has plenty to chew out the defense for after that terrible tackling performance vs Arky.
Both teams should be playing more physical ball this week.
I don’t expect to feel comfortable all game.

I’m sure that “arse chewing” from Yankee Brian will really get them moving.

Yea the last home game was homecoming so it brings out the best and worst.
I think that particular crowd will mostly pivot back to Southern games.
I haven’t actually been to a game since 2019. Was planning on going to the Texas game in ‘20 but then covid happened and the wheels came off the following season. Im at the point where i just want to stay home on Saturdays, drink a little, smoke a lot and watch games all day.
Im sure you’ll be subject to a few tiger baits and maybe the odd drunken fan encounter but the tailgate scene is where visiting fans can enjoy themselves and find hospitality. Unfortunately it looks like Saturday might be kinda wet.

Yeah, don’t get me wrong I’ve to tons of lsu fan friends and I know it’s a minority
But those few are a handful

I havent even been on campus in the longest time. I think the last time was the basketball game against A&M when they retired Abdul-Rauf’s jersey right before covid. Was supposed to take my niece to see Mike in January then it ended up snowing its arse off for like 3 days.

I think if A&M can win this weekend it’s a true coming out party. No matter how anyone wants to slice it, winning at night in a sold out Death Valley is a real challenge. If you can do that you can win anywhere. Considering after this weekend our last remaining “big games” will both be on the road, that’s a lot of confidence you can bring with you to finish the back 3rd of the season

I’ll hold it down for you at the game this weekend
I hope to see a good bit of maroon in there, with ticket prices dropping. I remember a few years back when Tennessee was good they had a decent amount of orange in TS. Hopefully we can do the same

No lie
Sold out death Valley at night, Missouri and Austin will feel like playing at home after that

The news on our end keeps getting better: Jardin Gilbert is redshirting but is apparently going to play Saturday which would be his 4th and final game of the year.
He was so bad last year but was solid in the opener against Clemson while Haulcy was suspended so I’ll give him that.

Yep. Went in 2013 ready for war and the first tailgate we walked by made us take pictures with her, start drinking, and offered us appetizers apologizing over and over that the jambalaya wasn't ready
Every fanbase has people looking for a fight, but typically if you return light ribbing with light ribbing you'll be drowned with booze and/or food. The worst experience I've ever had I was wearing purple (company shirt) for a LSU/Ole Miss work tailgate and some frat lords tried to push my porta potty over
