Wake me up when we land several 4 & 5 star talents on DL and LB

Until we get much much more physical up the middle and get LBs with size and speed... be prepared to be disappointed 2, 3, or 4 times a year.

Our linebackers have the size. Idk about the speed though. From reading 247 analysis they seem to be terrible at fitting run gaps.

Agreed. We are a spread offense state and spread teams are bad for defensive front development. Miles could give us a Boot pipeline. Give Chavis the horses he needs. Sumlin? Not so much. Not saying he is the best choice but better than current situation.

Either we bring in LB's or we don't and keep trotting out underwhelming defenses. The entire position group is currently worthless

LBs are not playing well, but our DL full of 4- and 5-star recruits aren't exactly living up to the hype either.
