Who in the hell expected the Mavs to be in the best position out of the TX teams. Guess the Rockets and Spirs are in the same boat. I think both will find a way to take the series.

I didn't expect it, but I sure as hell like it!

When rivals matchup, seeds go out the window. Not surprised at all. And I'm enjoying the hell out of it

This.
Anyone who thought this wouldn't be a dogfight hasn't paid any sort of attention to this rivalry, especially in the past 12 years or so.

Does anyone want Jeremy Lin on their team? I am willing to pay to get rid of him

Posted on 4/28/14 at 12:03 pm to Houston Summit
you know, y'all keep blaming Lin but he didn't play in OT and he wasn't the one that ran down the clock and then couldn't even get off a shot when Houston still had the chance to win in regulation.

If it weren't for Lin, we would not even be in OT. We would have won in regulation. We had just called a TO and discussed calling a timeout if/when we get the rebound on a missed shot. That was discussed literally 15 seconds earlier in the huddle. Your PG has to be the smartest guy on the floor, and Lin simply is not.
And Lin dribbled around for 15+ seconds plenty of times last night. Lin is definitely a huge problem. If he plays more than Troy Daniels in game 5 I will be very upset

All he had to do was call timeout or not dribble around like a chicken with his head cut off. He deserves all the blame he gets, turning the ball over when he did is unforgivable

that's such bullshite to say when a number of factors led to Houston losing.
Never mind that Houston had their chance to win it in regulation and Harden danced around so long there were only 17 seconds left once the ball was rebounded making it possible for Portland to hold for the last shot. Dude even had an open look that would have been a two for one and he hesitated. shite, he doesn't even try on defense what with letting people run right past him over and over. What about Parsons flagrant 1? What about Batum popping a 3 on Dwight b/c he sagged off? What about the refs blowing countless calls that hurt Houston big time? Every single starter has a negative plus minus yet its Lin who should be faulted for the loss? Get outta here with that noise.

I'm not saying he's the only one deserving blame, but he deserves to be blamed for sure. Hardens defensive effort is embarrassing and watching him ISO in this series has been tiresome. The officiating was subpar but the game could have easily been won in spite of it.

The melt is real with this post. Just like aggy on SECr

melt?
I'm a Mavs fan brah
I just don't see why Lin is getting so much of the blame when there is a ton to go around.

Damn! I wanted to use the melt phrase so bad. Jumped the gun on that one.

Ok, you keep pointing out other people's faults, which is fine. But tell me, what exactly has Lin done this series that makes up for his countless mistakes and boneheaded-ness? Defense? LOL, no. Ball security? LOL again. He occassionaly makes an open shot, and that's pretty much it. At least Parsons and Harden (to an extent) have made up for their mistakes in other areas of the game. Lin is worthless. And I know this because I am a Rockets fan and I have watched this team all season. This is nothing new to us
