Scoring defense is masking a lot of issues. Depth still lacking as evidenced when any starter goes out for significant periods of time. Yac and missed tackles are pretty troubling

Offense is even worse right now.

Knight did his best Kyle Allen impression to start the game.

Our defense hasn't been "good" in a long time. It's been decent a couple times, but never good.

Absolutely pathetic effort on defense. Players obviously don't give a shite or were resting on their laurels. Awful, awful performance.

Make more excuses for this shite staff Pat. If you tell us how awesome they are often enough we might start to believe you.

The only coaches pulling their weight right now are Turner and Banks.

Our tackling was very poor today. We had multiple instances of people being in position to make a play and failing.

We need to start benching defensive ends that repeatedly blow their containment assignment. We even lost containment with a DE lined up 3 yards outside the OT.

We could have won this game with any kind of defensive pulse today.

First off, you can frick off.

Second, not making any excuses for the staff, but you have to admit that was piss poor effort. That last touchdown was the most god awful play. We had about three players with their hands on him and he out wills it in. fricking terrible effort all day.

This.

I know Chavis said we had talent in place, and we do. However we lack the depth of talent to overcome a hurt Myles Garrett. Good defenses in this league have talent stockpiled and great Linebackers to compliment great DLs. We don't have depth and we don't have talented linebackers. That isn't Chavis' fault, but it is troubling when we have trouble recruiting for obvious holes and for depth.

Sumlin has been unable to sustain recruiting momentum in this state with an obvious natural advantage. THAT will be the downfall of this regime.

Same problem we have had for 3 years. Teams can run up the middle on us. We don't have the DTs for the bigger teams and definitely don't have the linebackers to slow down a power run. We also suck at power running which is another problem in itself. When we need a yard and QB is taking snap 5 yards deep and handing off... yuk.

Until A&M can truly play tough run defense and also run with power, there is going to be 2 teams we will rarely ever beat and a few teams we will be lucky to beat.

The SEC remains a power game in the trenches. Tonight it will be on full display.

Anyone else bugged about this 3rd down shite with Garrett?

He's one of our best defensive players. Let the man heal instead of pulling this stunt every week and keeping him hurt.

Yes. He had no business out there at all. We need him too much vs Ole Miss and LSU.

Beyond stupid to have him in the game today.

We need to go outside the state of TX. I hope the combo of Dodson and Marchiol bill be just what the doctor ordered.
