The Noble Men of Kyler?

Pert certain everyone noticed that in the days of Johnny Football the FTAB's playing "When Johnny Comes Marching Home" took on added meaning. The last half of last season engendered the opportunity for "The Noble Men of Kyle" [Allen] to do likewise. If Kyler Murray takes over then the same thing might 'close enough' apply. I'm thinking that in 2 or 3 years we'll need to be looking for a standout high school quarterback named Patton.

Not quite the same.
In case you don't know, a lot of FTAB members prior to 1986 don't particularly like Noble Men of Kyle. (It was composed by Col. Haney)

When they chop & screw it, it's pretty much my favorite thing the band does.

Which is why I support yell leaders till the end. Old Army gets the dudes, I get a band that still plays the song that is associated with my favorite game day memories. The best compromise is inaction, then everyone is happy.

What was wrong with Colonel Haney?
