Gotta agree with tmc on this one. Leaving Johnny in even till halftime was what cost us the game. In all honesty I think he is hurt worse than we will ever know and shouldn't have even played. Same thing might be said about last week as well but again we will never know because of Sumlin's policy on injuries.

Kenny Hill would have given us a chance to win this game. It might not have been a good chance but it would have been better than what Johnny was able to put out.

if anything we should have looked into taking manziel out earlier in the game. but with that said, im going for it on 4th down there. im putting money in our offense getting something done. i understand the defense was having a good game and the offense wasnt running well with manziel, but im going with the offense over our defense in a one play scenario

but we probably should have looked into taking manziel out in the 2nd half

As soon as Matty Football started warming up, that should have been his last series.

There was a very slim chance we'd convert it and a bad, but not terrible chance we would make them go 3&out. Our D played fairly well tonight (Well enough that it was a legit option). That said, I still would have gone for it. If the odds are very bad for both units, better to let the offense decide the game than the defense.

The thing that really hacked me about the decision to punt: if Sumlin decided to bet on the D, why the hell did he take a freaking TO before sending out the punt team? We needed those damn TOs.

This. You could really tell he was not "right." I've only seen him live twice: Arky and Mizzou 2013. MARKED difference between the JFF I saw in Fayetteville and the one I just witnessed in CoMo.

Say whatever you want, but I don't want to hear anyone complain about his love for A&M or his team--dude's a warrior when lesser competitors would have packed it in. Wish there was another place this offense could turn, though.

Yeah I'm not gonna knock JFF at all, you would have to break the guys legs to convince him he shouldn't play. Sumlin on the other hand has to do what's best and should have been able to tell that he wasn't physically up to putting this team on his back the last couple games.

I walked out when we sent the punt team out there.

I turned off the TV as soon as I saw the punt team come out. Also my wife was trying to go to sleep and she was getting mad with all my yelling.
