I know nothing about him but probably not. Yesterday's starter (Schiraldi) was not impressive and he was their #4. This guy hasn't had a start all year. He also hasn't had a lot of decisions or saves meaning he likely hasn't been used in the real critical situations much

Looks like he has pretty decent stats though. Throws strikes too. Only 8 BBs in 37 IP. But my guess is they are looking for 3-4 IP out of him. He's only had 2 outings all year with over 40 pitches.

Well if he can go a few solid innings, I think we can be ok with Kent, Mengden, and Jester available.
We just need to get the bat on the ball and string hits together to win this game. That and not sending the runner home when he is closer to second base than home plate.
