You and I both know its not because he's some random guy at the end of the bench. He was a top ~40 player and him leaving after being in the program after less than a year is not a good look even if its not Kennedy's fault.

Don't get why you're bringing up how some rating service projected them. Tyler is a ton better than him. I mean it's not even close between the two. Trocha (SO) is better than him. Trocha developed a lot but right now the gap is seismic. Maybe Eli would have gotten there, but as of right now, he's clearly behind those two* who are FR/SO.
He sees the writing on the wall and is transferring. I mean it'd be cool if he was happy to be a 3rd wheel big man his whole career but it's hardly surprising. This is the very definition of no big deal

Why? Because clearly people thought he was a very very good player. No one is arguing he's better than Davis or Trocha now. He was injured and didn't practice/play with the team for long stretches before the season started. He's behind in development. But those type of players don't grow on trees for A&M. Or they haven't in the past. Losing one this early is at least worth talking about.

All of that assumes the two who are clearly better than him won't develop as well.

it's definitely worth talking about but you and I both know the previous page is not "talking about." It's full on melting over it.
It sucks. I wish he stayed. I understand why he left and wish him the best. Probably won't affect us at all this year. We move on.

Well Jones will be gone next year and I highly doubt Davis will be at A&M for a long time. We are going to have a need for bigs in 2016 & 17.

And while I love Tyler as a college big man, he lacks the athleticism to be an early entry NBA guy tbh. I won't at all be surprised if he's here 4 years. Gilder or Hogg are more likely early entrants.
