B12 is already grossly underperfoming yet again with 2 higher seeds losing in the first round
2013 (5 teams) - 3-5 record
2014 (7 teams) - 6-7 record
2015 (7 teams) - 5-7 record
2016 (7 teams) - 1-2 so far
I'm not sure what the committee is supposed to do about it but at this point it's pretty clear something about B12 play doesn't translate well to the tourney.
The last time the B12 had a winning record in the tourney - or even had as many wins as the SEC in the tourney despite consistently having more teams in - we were still in the B12. The B12 and SEC both had 10 wins in 2012.

Stellar guard play has already yielded some big upsets. Our senior back court needs to take care of the ball tonight and defend at a high level

honestly every game and matchup is different but our region is loaded with B12/P12 teams and so far those two conferences look massively overrated.
SEC is hard to say since Vandy got fricked drawing WSU in their play in and Kentucky rolled easy.

Watching OU struggle isn't surprising. I hate how they've played all year: like a poor man's GSW. When their shots don't fall, they can lose to anyone.

it gets said every year but its so true and OU just went through it. just survive and advance. the tourney is so weird and so much shite can happen that it doesnt matter how you get it done, just get it done and move on

Its a Friday at 6:30 in Oklahoma. Not too surprising. My old roommate is road tripping from Dallas tomorrow if we make it.

not really surprising. This game ticket was sold as part of 2 game package. Even if we sold 1/3 of all tickets, GB probably had virtually none and those that bought for the late game probably won't show up til about the half
