Ole Miss is dealing with a covid outbreak, so we're heading to Knoxville next week. And I wouldn't be surprised to see the Ole Miss game canceled eventually.

Yeah I'd be very surprised if we ended up playing OM at this point.

Hate to say it but our secondary... would not bother me not to play OM.

Yeah, I'm good with not playing OM. Next year, though, antonio Johnson, Eric young, Demani for a last year, Jaylon Jones and George at CB. And some young guys. I wish we could have gotten another elite CB this year like Jones, I'm hopeful Harmon and Chappel turn out really good. 22 is supposed to be stacked though.

I'm going to be irritated if that game ends up being the thing that the committee uses to pass us over i.e. we didn't play enough games to overcome the "eye test" of OSU

We'll see if it actually gets moved.
We'll have 9 games which will be 3 to 5 more than tOSU. They can't hold it against us and not against tOSU.

Good point. But I think big 10 is going to change their rules so OSU gets a championship game and I feel like the committee would use that anyway to put them in over us. I still think our best bet is only one getting in from ND and Clemson. Thoughts?

Yeah we need ND to win or Clemson to trash them so bad that part 3 of that match up is avoided entirely. Would also be nice if OSU does not have enough games. If we go 9-1 (not taking this for granted) and don't make it, it will rank up there with '98 and '12 as "what if" years.

And now we're back to Ole Miss next weekend and Tennessee the following weekend. What a clusterfrick this has become
