Spav didn't throw three pick sixes. That was the difference in the game and that's entirely on the QBs.

I will say on Murray's interception Kirk quit running for some reason.

He called bad plays IMO

There was an old Ag next to me that probably would have jumped off the top of the west side if there wasn't a fence

I was surprised we didn't work shorter routes and more over the middle. My main complaint with Spav is not using the middle of the field. But today was all on execution.

Honestly, the personnel is there. But as an OC, he just doesn't know how to coach a running game. There's a reason Christensen was brought in.

I just dont see it that way.

On all three pick 6s they had a man open.

The first two Allen overthrew them badly. The third RSJ broke off his route.

Those are execution issues, not play calling.

Im a pretty big spav hater and I don't think this was a bad called game at all. 4 picks by the offense will hurt you. O didn't execute well on other plays as well.

That is literally the exact opposite of what Christensen is telling the staff. I have been harsh on our OC for his olaycallig before, but he hasn't done much to bitch about this season.

Which play, specifically? I mean you can break down every one and probably attribute its failure to either (1) good bama D, (2) poor execution, (3) lack of personnel on oline

Not a fan of Spav, and he has some questionable calls, but when tour QB in playing that bad you are hamstrung.

I would even attribute so,e of the bad qb play to the oline. Also the receivers were basically blanketed by the Bama secondary.

When you can't run the ball on a good team, the defense doesn't have to scheme for it and they can keep lots of 5-star DBs on our arse all night and an elite dline keeping our qb under pressure. That's why we beat them in 2012, we could run the ball on them and they had to scheme accordingly.

It's not nearly as bad as you all are making it.
