Otherwise where are you with a Miss State has never won at Kyle thus we win this weekend prediction?

This Mississippi State team looks eerily similar to the 2005 Iowa State team that beat A&M by four touchdowns at Kyle.

A&M was 5-2 going into that game as well (3-1 in conference)

You keep saying this but you never say how exactly. They don't run the same kind of offense, they don't run the same kind of defense, and A&M doesn't have Fran w/a Torbush led bottom 15 defense.

You find the strangest parallels and focus on some super random stuff.

Don't get me wrong. You bring some great info, but sometimes I just have to shake my head.

Throw enough stat-shite at the wall, eventually it'll stick and you can boast about it.

Got Damn, I don’t check the rant for a day and y’all actually have a 4 page thread blow up with lots of discussion.

Sumlin would have to play in the SEC championship game to win me back, that simple. Even if we do get 9 or 10 wins this season, I’m not convinced next year will continue to be better. I think it’s flawed logic to just assume we will be better next year because it’s a young team. Yes, you expect guys to get faster, stronger, and more familiar with schemes but I’m not super confident in the coaching staff to do so.

There is nothing he can do in just one or two seasons to have me back on board unless it’s playing/winning the conference championship. I’ve seen too many second half season collapses, embarrassing losses, and mismanagement of coordinators/assistants to believe otherwise. You don’t wipe out a 6 year body of work after just one or two decent seasons.

I have been an advocate for Tom Hermann, and it looks like I was wrong there. But then again, I once believe in Sumlin too. And the Easter Bunny when I was little

I'm a big Chad Morris advocate, as well as Frost, Campbell, Wittingham, and some of the coaches who wouldn't come here like Franklin. I also still like Durkin quite a bit, given his recruiting prowess and defensive philosophy

Six years of treading water is enough for me. Sumlin could succeed here, but the odds are definitely not in his favor.

Sumlin is one of 7 active coaches with at least 80 wins without a conference or national title of any kind.

2 of those coaches are at Service Academies.

The amount of players that have seemed to regress the longer Sumlin coaches them doesn't give me much confidence this young team will improve next year. Only prolonging the inevitable, and knocking down the buy out imo.

How many wins does he have in the month of November when the forecast was party cloudy?

No idea. I can tell you that his conference record in November post Manziel is not good.

2014: 1-2 (0-2 at home)
2015: 1-2 (0-1 at home)
2016: 0-3 (0-2 at home)

The last time Sumlin won a home game against a conference opponent in November was 2013 against Mississippi State.

How many times have we lost when Sumlin put his left shoe on before his right shoe?

Except terrible embarrassments like that have happened several times now with sumlin.

59-0? There are others too.

2014 - Ole Miss leads A&M 35-7 in the 4th quarter in front of the largest crowd ever at Kyle Field. Two garbage time touchdowns, including one in the final seconds, made the score look much closer than it was (35-20)

2014 - Alabama 59, A&M 0

2014 - Following up of the great win over Auburn with an epic fail loss to an average Missouri team at home, including the biggest WTF goal line playcall in A&M history.

2015 - Sumlin publicly executes Kyle Allen in Oxford, MS, where he sets a record for most consecutive incomplete passes enroute to a 20-3 loss.

2015 - Last place Auburn 26, A&M 10. Kyler Murray famously sliding before the goal line.

2015 - Both starting and backup QBs transferring within 6 days of each other 2 weeks before the bowl game.

2016 - #4 A&M goes into Starkville, MS and proceeds to shite their pants.

2016 - A&M blows a 21-6 4th quarter lead to a true freshman quarterback playing his first ever game.

2016 - A&M gives up the 2nd most points ever at Kyle Field in a loss to an interim head coach missing 7 starters.

2016 - Epic Fail loss to a Kansas State team with a QB incapable of completing a forward pass

2017 - A&M led UCLA 44-10 late 3rd quarter enroute to a 45-44 loss.

Also, those young guys can improve for a winning coach as well.
