My little sister has been cooking and baking all day long for my Dad's 80th bday party in El Campo tonight. This is a very good thing, because the girl knows what she's doing. I get to lay eyes on new Kyle Field around 8:00 am tomorrow morning. This is also a good thing.

A recurring dream our senior year was when Waggies (sorry, Mr. and Mrs. TBird) first started wearing boots. And SafetySam, though he KNEW he would be booted out of the Corps for it, ran amongst the new boot-wearers with buckets of orange paint and got every damn one of them. And the males cheered. SafetySam was our hero.
