Do you really want to put that to the test with me on this board?

Yes. Spavital, while not great, would have had way more success in the Big12. Not even you can deny that.

The Big12 is to Offensive Coordinators as Coors Field is to hitters. FRIENDLY!

You are aware of the concept of the 'Air Raid'? Regardless, it still stands. He did all that with crap defenses all year round. CRAP DEFENSES.

I believe meacham was real and who knows what could still happen

The kids announcing they are staying for their senior year still makes it a better day.

But I've had bigger stuff on my mind this afternoon

Maybe depending on who the commits are, but I'm kind of done getting excited about us outside of actual results. It's about to be year 5

Fair enough. No matter who we get it does kinda suck that we will have replaced both coordinators within a year. Normally when neither side of the balls works the head coach goes. Here we are a full roster in of Sumlin's recruits and we have no identity.

I think at this point it is fair to say Sumlin's best trait by far is recruiting. That is why I refuse to accept that we will get a meh OC hire until it happens. Meachum isn't the only hot name.

SPAVITAL, on the other hand, faced the following defenses:

Arizona State (T112/S99): Allowed 33.5 ppg (A&M 38)
Ball State (T121/S108): Allowed 35.8 ppg (A&M 56)
Nevada (T73/S62): Allowed 26.8 ppg (A&M 44)
Arkansas (T58/S68): Allowed 27.4 ppg (A&M 28)
Alabama (T2/S1): Allowed 13.4 ppg (A&M 23)
Ole Miss (T8/S33): Allowed 22.6 ppg (A&M 3)
South Carolina (T94/S71): Allowed 27.5 ppg (A&M 35)
Auburn (T71/S54): Allowed 26.0 ppg (A&M 10)
Western Carolina: Allowed 27.6 ppg (A&M 41)
Vanderbilt (T28/S23): Allowed 21.0 ppg (A&M 25)
LSU (T25/S41): Allowed 24.3 ppg (A&M 7)
Louisville (T18/S39): Allowed 24.1 ppg (A&M 21)

A&M scored a TOTAL of 21.1 points more than their opponents allowed on average. That comes out to an average of +1.62 ppg.

TCU scored an average of 9.02 ppg more than their opponents allowed on average and were held below their opponents' scoring defense average 4 times (once by double digits). A&M was held below their opponents' scoring defense average 4 times (three times by double digits)

Yup. I think Young is a super smart prez. He wants his proven AD to come with him is fine by me. Hyman was a crap.

You mean the LSU alter (Chill98).
I don't know why LSU fans feel the need to create A&M alters like Chill98 and agregime1 when all they need to do is wait a few minutes and texag7 will post a shitty thread of his own volition

I was about to say, your last few Rant threads were very information dense.
