The boosters I know of who could afford him are pretty pissed about all of this. I would be surprised if Sumlin doesn't get the $upport he needs.
Maybe that is what Hyman was doing, making himself the bad guy so we pull together as a team and stop the alien invasion.
No wait, that is the Avengers movie. Still haven't recovered from those Denver edibles I guess.

I don't recall that. TexAgs can be stupid, subtly racist (which is my biggest issue with TA since recruits visit that website), and ignorant on so many levels, but I don't think many had a problem with him being a Mormon. It was brought up, but I don't think it was a focus of attention.
What I do remember was a thread about how he got his current wife. Dude has no boundaries

Really? When I used to visit TA, anytime Catholicism was brought up, it was always in negative views.
From my point of view, TA just seems like a place where you are crucified if you aren't part of some form of Protestant Christianity, aren't fully conservative, don't own a gun, and are critical of some of our traditions. Forget being called a 2%er, you're just a troll with an Ag Tag.

Don't remember the entire details, but his current wife was the former wife of one of Washington's biggest donors. He actually met her while she was still married to the donor and while he was President there.
Never cared to look up whether this was fact or not, but gossip was
***EDIT***
He actually stole her from the University of Utah. Marti Young was actually known as Marti Denkers before she met Michael K. Young...Marti Denkers, as in wife of Steven Deckers, a member of the prestigious Eccles family (part namesake of Rice-Eccles Stadium).

Former University of Utah President Michael Young remarried last week, tying the knot in a private ceremony with the ex-wife of a prominent U. donor and Salt Lake City philanthropist. Young’s relationship with Marti Denkers, 38, had bothered some in the Eccles family, according to her ex-husband, but there is little evidence the family’s generosity toward the school was jeopardized.
Steve Denkers, Marti’s former spouse, is a member of the Eccles family, who has given hundreds of millions to the U. over the years.
"It seems the head of a university should have a little more tact," said Steve Denkers, a 1984 U. graduate who is executive director of the Willard L. Eccles Charitable Foundation, one of several Eccles family philanthropic outlets that supports education in Utah. Some family members would likely have been rethinking how they invest in the U. if Young was still president, he said.

Very true. But if you ever venture over to the religion board (do so at your own risk lol), you are ruthlessly mocked if you proclaim Jesus or any other form of religion, from my observations at least. I am a proud Christian, but I have lurked over on the religion board and I have absolutely zero interest in ever posting over there

The religion board has a funny history. It used to be DOMINATED by a few Mormons who started most of the threads. They all eventually got banned and for a while it was a Protestant vs Catholic war zone. In the last couple of years a bunch of trolls and atheists have moved it and only a few of the more knowledgable Christian posters had enough substance to keep posting.

Ok so today I hear it's Oliver Luck or bust

Good info.
Kinda makes me nervous though, as Luck is on his way to being the NCAA president. Bust sounds bad.
