Lmart is a longtime poster, I think on 247 now, that gets insider-ish info from time to time. I've never interacted with him before but his name is thrown around a lot.

I have a strange feeling we don't take Crownover even though his brother is on the team and he's rated well. It seems like he doesn't really have a position. Who knows

He's pretty versatile. I imagine he could play Tight End, Defensive End or Linebacker.

Maybe so. I'll be interested to see if he ends up a party of the class and where he lines up. I feel like we took Orebo in that "he's crazy athletic, we'll find a spot" role and we haven't heard much about him. Course he may show out in the next few years in some way.

All I'm saying is, the recruitment around Crownover feels a little weird. I could be totally wrong! I just think their in a phase of recruiting prowess where they can find talented guys who have a position rather than guys where it's "they could play tight end, or DE, or something". My point is they don't have to take guys that project "somewhere".

Seriously? He REDSHIRTED his freshman year. You know who else did this? Justin Madubuike. I think he turned out decent.
