Tried to bump the SEC recruiting thread where people gave Old Sarge shite for calling him a 5 star, and it seems to be anchored because it is still on the second page.

Perroni with an Alford update, said he was set to commit to A&M, but now tu is pushing back hard, and it could almost be a coin toss.

Not looking good for Alford. This one is going to hurt a little.

Should have just taken Eaton, and this was in the bag. Very, very large mistake by Fisher. Also, should have taken the other QB instead of Stowers - all the Houston recruits love him. He'll never be a QB at sip, but he's the lynchpin to the 2021 class, and the worm has turned in state. Fisher will have to go elsewhere next year as well.

I think I'm going to move on from A&M football for awhile. It's simply not good for my blood pressure or disposition. I'm out. Sayonara guys ...

That’s probably a good idea if you can’t handle that we’re not winning enough head to head battles with tu.

Kind of strange to walk away in the off-season when the first game is so close. I mean I can understand walking away after the Mississippi state loss, or the auburn loss,…

See these are the type of fans that think the season exists for recruiting. The ultimate cart before the horse.

That MSU loss did a number on me last year.

I’ll be honest I’m still in shock. The Auburn loss was also a humiliating kick to the teeth. I was sitting outside of Austin in a popular restaurant/beer garden with my family when auburn happened and we went from cheering to sneaking out after paying the check. Fisher owes me one after that in my opinion

Auburn was after State right? I’ve was too down to be too sad. I was at church that day and only listen to the last few plays on the radio.

I have come to the conclusion that some of our fans are more interested in all this recruiting back and forth than they are in the actual games. It's crazy, but that's where things are now.

Perhaps it is an internal admission that they have no clue about the sport, itself. They never played it and couldn't tell you the difference between Cover 2 and Quarters Coverage, for example, if their lives depended on it. Instead, they take refuge in blathering on and on about this recruiting stuff, since it's like politics, and all subject to debate.

And to make it even more bizarre, if said recruit is not from the state of Texas, he doesn't seem to exist in their minds. Guys like Jashaun Corbin, Derrick Hunter and Adarious Jones just aren't really a part of their consciousness. I think it is partly because these TexAgs jokers, which is where a lot of our fan base gets its information, really don't know much about guys outside Texas that our staff recruits.

It's just the way it is with an element of our fan base.

I think you are worse than CGSC. And that's saying something. Glad I don't have to read your drivel for awhile... hopefully.

I went on a tirade at my son's baseball game over the Auburn game. All my friends here are OU fans and they honestly just don't understand lol
