Based mostly on recruiting misses, but our corners were about as bad last year as they were under the last staff

We got two studs last cycle and already have a national top 50-60 player committed this cycle. We’re hardly drowning at the position. I’m way more concerned about linebacker going forward than I am corner.

We at least got three guys last year at lb who look like they will be solid in a year. We got zero true cb freshmen last year. Hopefully Young will be able to stick at corner but we definitely needed at least one more true corner.

He and Elko landed the #2, #3 and #5 DBs in the state last year. And lost the #4 guy to the best program in CFB history
He also signed the #1 JUCO CB
