Asking these players to publicly announce that they are signing on December 20 might however encourage other young men to do the same and therefore it is a good thing right?

Absolutely.
Chap is one guy I worried about since we were going hard after other big time WRs.

He gonna be a TE or WR? I don’t know many tall white boy WR’s.

Do you even Chad Schroeder?

He is fast as hell. Like hs 4.4, legit 4.5 fast.

He’s basically mike Evans. If we can get him to play mean (he’s very competitive/aggressive as far as wr go, but mike was a different dude) he’s going to be a beast.

Texas is back in contact with four-star Yoakum wide receiver Joshua Moore, and he intends to make an official visit at some point during the process. But don’t get too excited. From everything I’ve heard, Moore appears to be a Texas A&M lean. Moore’s brother is committed there, and he has a strong preexisting relationship with new head coach Jimbo Fisher.

Member when swope ran a 4.34 at the combine and then medically retired. Crazy to think about how much money he left on the table but hard to put a price on lucidity.

It seems crazy to say b/c he was playing only a few years ago but Swope would have been tossed from so many games with the current targeting rules. That dude laid people the frick out. I sometimes wonder if the new rules would have saved his head from some trauma and allowed him to play in the NFL.

Jaylen Waddle is going to either A&M, Bama, or possibly FSU. He liked FSU when Jimbo was there and of course his former teammate, Marvin Wilson, is a Nole. He was heavily considering Oregon but with Taggart in Tallahassee, FSU is back in it. I still predict A&M to be his spot as he'll see immediate opportunity replacing Christian Kirk and Waddle doesn't seem to interested in checking on opportunity beyond the obvious. Terrace Marshall is still interested in LSU, A&M, FSU, and Texas. UT should be by this week. This recruitment interests me as much as Dylan Moses'. It'll either be LSU or perhaps A&M. If it's A&M, well, ... that would be interesting.

Do we have a 2019 thread? Jalen Currey de-committed from FSU and wants to play with his teammate Gunnell. I would be surprised if he isn't an Ag.

IMO, it was a smart move.
You only get one body in life. He will have multiple opportunities to make money as a well known former student athlete. Concussions aren't worth it.
