100% G5/ACC Champ @ Kyle followed by Tech in Arlington is the optimal draw. Given the parity in the game today, styles make fights more than ever before and I feel really confident that we can beat anyone that we have a physicality advantage against with our Oline vs their Dline. It's not a coincidence that South Carolina and Texas were our toughest games down the stretch, both have really good defensive lines despite their other issues.

Ohio St is the likeliest #1 but they won't have a gimme against the winner of OU/ND so it's possible we get lucky and get either A) an OU team with a lot of offensive issues or B) a ND team we already beat.

You have to beat good teams to win it all but the 4/5 seed is potentially the best placement in this tournament to have a chance to make a run.

I have 0 doubts that we’ll show up as fans. The game could be at 6am, just thought it would be a cool scene and one I’d like to see.

It would be kind of funny if Duke beat UVA

It’s setting up to be #7 A&M versus #10 Alabama in the first round.

Alabama with their lack of a running game at our house? Frick yes.

You don’t even want to know what the Marriott hotels are going for.

Texas couldn’t run either till they played us. The truth is no matter who we play we’ll have to be on our A+ game from here on out

That sucks, but I’m happy for KSU.

Who are we going to go after?

interesting development here, from ESPN:
quote:

With Tulane's win against North Texas, the American champs locked up a spot in the playoff, as they will be the committee's fourth-highest ranked conference champion. The Green Wave will earn the No. 11 seed and face the committee's No. 6 team on the road in the first round. If the committee keeps Ole Miss at No. 6, Tulane will get a rematch against the Rebels. Ole Miss beat Tulane 45-10 on Sept. 20 in Oxford and will have home-field advantage again as the higher seed.

a rematch, with a possible A&M/ND rematch as well at 7/10?

We're going to find out just how much pull the tv networks have and how much bias the committee has.

I really don’t want any part of Notre Dame. Difficult to beat a team twice in one season if evenly matched up.

Would love to get Bama, OU, etc.

Still think the NC is going to be UGA, Ohio State, or Indiana.
