So get this stat: Curry has now hit 26 shots this year from beyond 30 feet. Before this season, no player had ever hit more than 14 in a year...also done by Curry. The record before that was 12...also Curry. He's the only player ever to hit more than 11 in a season, and he's done it three times.

Curry already holds the NBA CAREER record for shots made beyond 30 feet. His career percentage on those shots: 40%

Crazy. And on a bunch of those shots tonight, he had a real big dude in his face. He's some kind of wizard. Voodoo. Something.

I can't even.

The words that float through my brain when I watch him play these days are an amalgamation of random profanity and abject admiration

I have NEVER enjoyed watching a player for another team more than I have watching Curry these past couple of years. And I did watch Jordan play.

This guy is unreal, and I'm just happy I get to witness it

Correction: per ESPN, it was only a 32-footer.

I'm excited as frick for the WCF

I'll say this: If Pop somehow beats the Warriors hell instantly go to the very top of of the list of professional sports coaches ever in my mind. He's already top 5 but that would be the greatest coaching job of all time IMO.

I don't think it can be done, but if slowing Curry is possible I think he's the only guy who can do it.

I'm not sure it can be done, either. But if there's a guy that could possibly cook up a strategy to stop Kerr and Co., I'd put my money on Kerr's former coach

Just hope SA gets there. Crazy that the year SA gets off to their best start ever also just so happens to he the year GSW is setting the basketball world on fire. I'd be happy with either outcome of a GSW/SAS series.

Not sure how he'd use our personnel to try to slow the Dubs down, though. It HAS to be a defensive strategy tho. No one is going to outscore GS. Gotta find a way to ugly the game up, force Curry to score 85% of the points himself, and punish them on the offensive side with size.

We'd need huge defensive series' from Kawhi and Green. Boris Diaw would also have to have a stellar series.

I wonder when the last time was that a team got outrebounded by 30 and still won? That shite right there is bizarre.

That's some twilight zone stuff there

To be fair, though, OKC had that game in the bag. Never should have gone to OT.

Yep, they let it slip away. Mental errors by both Durant and Westbrook.

Oh, and did you hear that Steph played 36 at Augusta on Tuesday?

I was thinking the very same thing.
I hope he can keep it all together, which'll be no small chore.
