I know the logistics of it would be pretty hard to pull off, but it would be fricking awesome if y'all could play Ohio State this weekend.

The Big 10 is going to either change their rules or rearrange everyone's schedule to benefit Ohio State. ESPN is already pushing for them to play Indiana again. If I was Indiana I would tell them to shove it up their arse. They go to the conference championship game if OSU doesn't get in another game.

Or imagine if Notre Dame just loses? Why should they still be a playoff team if they lose? Because they beat a QB-less Clemson at home in 2OT????

The loser of the ACC championship game should be out. Notre Dame is getting a pass because of their name brand and y'all are buying into that narrative.

Finebaum talking to an Ohio State beat writer. He said Ohio State is among the best and that the Big Ten will find a way to alter the rules to allow for a championship. He said they are going to find a way to get in. Finebaum seemed to be sympathetic but he did say aTm fans would complain.

Wouldn't that be something if behind the scenes they are working to schedule another game. Play Louisiana Lafayette. I don't think they have a game this weekend and they are actually ranked one spot above Tulsa at 17.

They are. Bjork said the SEC commissioner would be inclined to approve a non-con game if it helped the resume.

So while we wouldn't be allowed to schedule UTEP, I'm sure the conference would have no issues with A&M scheduling Coastal Carolina, BYU, or the best team in Louisiana, ULaLa.

Playing Ohio State is probably not going to happen. There's no way the B1G doesn't bend the rules for OSU to get them in the conference championship game. They're not Nebraska, they're Ohio State. They get preferential treatment (which is funny because Nebraska left the Big12 to avoid this).

Man, don't shat on me! I frickin retired so I listen to it sometimes when I'm bored. But as surely as the press in the US is slanted in one direction, Finebaum likes to throw sand in aTm's/fans eyes. He is shaking his head in the affirmative that Ohio State belongs there. His show is OK if not a little Alabama centric. Correction, Alabama/Ohio State centric.
