I guess we ended up with a cat 1 hurricane. 70mph winds knocked power out around midnight. Up at 3am getting generators out and catching up on work. Occurred to me that the behavior of the Colorado fans... particularly the student sections closer to Aggies were pretty bad and I haven't seen any posts about it.

At the game there were alchoholic drinks available that came with half or a whole lemon. Colorado students were throwing lemons starting in the first half. Started off throwing them onto the field. They hit the field from the end zone out to about the 20 yard line. In second half they were coming into the first 2-3 Aggies sections next to the students regularly. Police were brought in, they were videoing the student section from the field etc.. Only saw one idiot taken out. Lemons were being thrown 3-4 sections away so they came in with a thud.

Is there anything more chickenshit that throwing things from a crowd into another crowd that is not expecting or deserving of that?

Just trash. They check bags at the gate then arm them with lemons once they get in. Good grief.

What kind of drinks were they getting that required that much lemon?

My wife went to CU and was in their band. She says their student section used to put AA batteries into marshmallows and throw them at their own band.

Walking out of the stadium their skinny chicken leg fans had no stomach for trouble, they staggered out peacefully for the most part. A group ran by the crowds shouting “y’all suck for not beating us worse that that”. We all laughed as they continued to run at full speed as if the insult would make us chase them down

Buddy said they had several half full tall boys in their direction (wasteful if true smh) and it was by far the worst experience with other fans hes had.

Something with Tequila if I remember correctly. Just saw them on the way in at some of the concession booths. They had other concessions where you went in and there were huge coolers with nothing but tall boys. You helped yourself and paid on the way out. Someone was at the turnstile to make sure they were opened before you could walk out with them. Just saw it, didn't partake.

I had heard way back in the Big 12 days that CU was worse than tceh. I refused to go to Lubbock out of fear I would end up arrested. So I can't compare the two.

I did go to Denver and their fans are horrible. At halftime a small group of them were messing with two Aggies. Basically trash talk that came off as classless, trashy type people. When that ended, a CU fan apologized for the group of guys and says "only 50% of our fans are like that" wtf???

He then began to brag how they used to throw batteries at Nebraska fans and claimed NEB did too.

It seemed like 90% of the guys for CU, never washed or combed their hair. The women put their hair in a pony tail and wore something that was less than flattering.

The "Simba Cam" was funny but brought out the true trashy in their fans to include the staff working there. The girl with the blue hair that ended up showing the entire stadium her black bra, was brought back onto the jumbotron twice more!!!

Their fans stay drunk, yell obscenities, and take pride in it.

This is the same fan base that flipped, and caught cars on fire when they won the NHL championship
