Cool - you will never believe me but I thought I was responding to you. I get alot more credit than I deserve at times - as well as criticism.
When pro JFF threads get bombed by Ags on the Rant - it shows I am clueless as to coolness and procedure.
But I have my own definition of cool, and it is not the Douchebags on Rant.
Procedure - Just not sufficiently educated. Threads have never been discouraged on boards to my knowledge and I have been around awhile. Just don't get it. 90% of the threads on main are terrible. I try and have a topic at least.
When pro JFF threads get bombed by Ags on the Rant - it shows I am clueless as to coolness and procedure.
But I have my own definition of cool, and it is not the Douchebags on Rant.

We try to keep all the Rant shite off of here and have some good discussions. Doesn't mean we don't have fun but we don't troll or try to piss each other off either.

I never go to another thread just to say some dumbass comment a 3rd grader would say.
If I go I have a point.
Check my history - watch where the trouble starts and by who. Its not me. But I play along. Its kinda funny how serious some posters can be.
I like football discussion. It would be great if we could do that with other conferences.
I really think Chicken should have a premium board or a adult board where the crap is simply not tolerated.
As it is now - many many knowledgable posters stay away because its like sticking your hand in the tree knot in Flash Gordon (80s version).
But I am clearly in the minority. But some guys come out if I can keep the damn thread high enough so they can see it.
But screw any aggies that come on my threads complimenting Johnny and talk shite to me. I don't believe most are aggies to be honest. Maybe 30%

I don't care what you do on the Rant. That ain't my territory or my call. I also don't have a vendetta against you.
Just want to keep everything copacetic on THIS board. If you have a legit topic, cool, go for it.
But no more of these "hey guys, what's up?" threads, ok? Imma delete that shite with a quickness. That's what the SECrOT/OT-Lounge are for.

They're Aggies, the Rant is just not really a discussion board anymore. Most threads start off as trolls so even the ones that aren't intended that way, like yours, are still seen by the majority as just that and get blasted. Unless threads make it to 4 or 5 pages no real discussion usually happens.
Our admins let in some of the best posters from other schools onto this board so we can have actual football talk without getting into the shite talking and crappy remarks. If you really want to talk about something just post it in here instead of the main rant.

OK dude - that is all of 1 thread once I was let in.
To slayer - the interesting thing about the main is you can get some dialogue with other schools.
The rant has a rare product in that respect but in my opinion they are missing the boat - it has huge potential.
The main could be huge if the trash was taken out.
Anyway - I disagree on the amount that are Ags. I bet 30% if that.
This is a business and in a business people may grab another LSU guy and say you are the A&M admin, you are the St. admin etc..
All the worry about alters here is crazy. I think me and 20 other posters are supposedly WhiskeyBent. But from what I can tell there is no WhiskeyBent.
