I think a lot of folks are shocked at how many kids actually signed early and what that leaves for an available February signing

Last I saw on Wednesday night was 78% so It's gone up some since then, not sure where it is currently.

Yep. The main thought was that early signing would help the 3 and 4 stars lock up spots while the higher 4 and 5 stars could still shop around and take their time. But apparently that wasn’t the case and 70-80% of the top recruits on the ESPN 300 or 24/7 rankings signed on the dotted line.

I was surprised at the number of 4/5 stars that signed early. I thought more would wait so they could do their televised song and dance announcement with the hat to tell us know where they were taking their talents.
Curious how many will get burned and regret signing early due to coaching changes yet to be made or announced.
