On a side note, congrats on grinding it out the past few weeks for the wins. However, if Kentucky does beat Georgia you guys will be the new Baylor. 09/17/1977

Actually, it was unintended, was just thinking of UK going with 1 loss and the 77 game game to mind. Nobody back then expected UK to go on that run and most were still at a loss as to how UK lost that game as the season progressed. I know many on here were not even born yet but I was not only alive, but old enough to have that loss burned in my brain.
Baylor wound up being mediocre to bad that year and it was not like the game went to OT like this one did. NCAA still controlled TV so it was not on that I remember and you had to listen on the radio. Before that you have to back to the 1950's and Bear Bryant to get the last 1 loss season. Not as big at the time as not became but that loss to Baylor was most unexpected in a year of unexpected success.
North Carolina was actually decent that year and Penn State was in the Top 5. Cats swept the SEC including some ranked teams. It was the only game where UK averaged a single TD when they were probably averaging about 4 TD's per game for the rest of the season. Baylor also scored 21 points on UK (the highest for the season) and the next highest opponent score was 20 to Penn State.
Somebody put up a thread in the past few months about games you could take back or some sort and this would be up there for older folks in KY.

Nope, at my age, just being regular is a plus.
