I grew up close to Dallas and was of course a Cowboys fan. Having lived in Mississippi 31 years I've become a Saints fan. I still root for the Cowboys (unless vs. the Saints), but I sure wish Jerry would sell the team or at least back way the hell off.
No feelings about the Texans (or Oilers previously), either way.

No, not even close. Not really close to being "New Orleans", either
. My home is 150 miles closer to New Orleans than Dallas, though, and the citizenry here is definitely more like New Orleans than Dallas. But really I started down this slippery slope simply because of what was available on TV. About the only time I got to watch Dallas in the '80s and '90s was the playoffs, while the Saints were on every Sunday.

Every year I try to like the cowboys, but my hate for jurrah jones and romo always wins out.
As for the texans, and every sports team in houston, they depress me.
All in all when it comes to the nfl I just don't give a shite. I have players I like to watch, but don't ultimately care how teams do. Except for a couple of franchises I always want to lose.

I usually root against the Cowgirls. Dallas people in general are about as arrogant as you come. Reminds me of tsips. Plus I married into an Eagle family so the transition wasn't too tough.
