so what? kids claim they are hard up for a school all the time only to switch later on over the most random things.
you cant get on the ride if you dont get in line
you really need to stop overreacting to everything so much
you are going to give yourself an ulcer.

My guess is yes they will be retained But you never know

That's COMPLETELY on Joseph.
honestly it's completely not. That's on Sumlin if anyone. Position coaches don't get to decide things like that in a vacuum.
And you seriously need to calm your tits

btw, in just another sign of the times, Jeremy Pruitt at UGA just re-signed for $1.3m. For anyone that thinks we overpaid for Chavis, the truth is the going rate for DCs in the SEC is 1.3+ now.

Wow, that's insane.

Anyone know of any open positions? I'll happily be a DC for 10% of that.
It's a steal at that rate.

What's this about OU showing interest on Spavital?
On any other year, I wouldn't care since he is still young and hasn't really done well in his first full year as OC. My main concern is that Spavital's defection could lead to decommitments on the offensive side (Mostly worried about Murray). It would be another mid December recruitment meltdown all over again.

It's been floating around for a few weeks but I've seen nothing showing it's going to be a real threat. I don't care if Spav goes or stays but I don't want to risk Murray's commitment to us.

My big question why Sumlin specifically said he would have all 3 hires made the bowl week. Where are the other two?

think there are still some moving parts. I imagine we'll hear something tomorrow but I think part of the delay is the state mandatory thing. Think it has to be posted for 7 days. Generally how it works is they get the candidate and then they post the job so that he fits it perfectly so like the DC posting says something like "must have 15+ years of experience as a DC in the SEC and won at least 3 SEC titles and 1 national title while in the position" to avoid lawsuits. It's laughably dumb tbh
There's definitely good buzz on the WR situation but I don't know anything on it.
