how on earth is the best closer in college baseball not drafted yet?
Stopper of the Year Award isn't exactly a good indicator of future success. Of the 17 past winners, only 6 actually made it to the league. As best I can tell, none are playing in the majors as of today.
Doesn't mean he can't do well, but being a college reliever usually indicates a somewhat lower ceiling than those who are able to establish themselves as starters.

Terrence Kiel Jr will officially be in Aggieland next year. I loved watching his dad lay the wood on the football field in the waning days of the Wrecking Crew.

This is great news. How long has it been since there’s been this much energy around our baseball program?

Never?
An unprecedented run of success that morphed over night into a defcon 1 situation that has been handled deftly (up to this point).

I couldn't remember Peyton Smiths name, we still get to see Antolick, Luke Jackson & Bodin that have been mentioned as pitchers w stuff to work with. We have seen Wilson, Morton & Moss. I'm not sure what to expect w Wansing, but if he is 85% what he was physically w more maturity then he starts I imagine. This new pitching coach has A LOT to work with. I'm missing some older names and not certain how many freshman/transfers are coming in. The line up is crazy also. I hope Early paces the catchers innings A LOT though.

Goddamn this roster is stacked

Outside of the bullpen (TBD) and possibly defense, I think this team is better than last year.

This team is better on paper for certain. Starting pitching will be much better out of the gate, and I have faith that the pitching will take care of itself. The offense is unbelievable if they mesh well.

From TA
Edit. This is in reference to Prager.

Heard from a good source (Hunter Elliot's dad) his deal was $750K. That was competitive with his MLB offer.

Forgive me for being out of the loop but isn’t he at OM?

Yes, this was from a thread on Prager. I clearly left that out. My bad.

I don't know anything about the incoming freshmen but I'm hoping Wilson, Morton, Moss, Peyton etc get tons of innings early. Everybody loves these transfers but I'm hoping Binderup is handling off speed stuff better also.
