Bars are really a matter of taste. There are so may now. Dickson St. Is the Northgate type area there. There is a much larger, diverse selection. Some of my favorites are Willy D's (piano), Grub's, George's and Farrell's.

Why not the Waffle House? You can see what B/CS is lacking

The tailgate depends on the game time. If it is in the evening then I would say 10-11 or 8-9 if you are ambitious. If it is at 11 then maybe 7-8 (won't be much time) and 3 I would say 8-9. Of course all this depends on the weather and where you are tailgating.

Otherwise we can certainly discuss the game over here and it would be cool to have a meet and greet.

I've personally been to a Waffle House in about 6 different cities throughout the south. I've never stepped inside one outside the hours of 2am and 4am. I'm not even sure if they are open other times. YMMV

Of course I'm biased but my guess is that you would have more fun and meet better people in Arkansas. I've had nothing but bad times in BR.
