We'll find out very quickly how big a mistake it was when Murray has to deal with linebackers and defensive linemen that are just as fast as he is.

Murray will be a failure, and he will get Kingsbury fired as a result. He was the coach’s pick - front office wanted Bosa

I’m not ready to say he’s going to fail, he could easily be the next Russell Wilson

But huge risk taking him #1

To don’t hate Kyler but I certainly don’t think he is an NFL QB. His size just is t there. When he goes out of the pocket he will have to slide earlier than most. I simply don’t think he will weather that punishment.

We all know he was at times a little shite. I will continue to be disappointing in Sumlin for screwing this up. He should have won the Heisman and been the #1 pick at A&M.

Sumlin had two NFL QBs transfer out in the same week b/c he was too fricking proud to sit them down and talk to them both. Yes they were both entitled and had helicopter parents but man... I'm not sure how he can ever live that down. If I was recruiting against him I would bring that up to every single QB he was going after.

i think one of the reasons i wasn't very upset by his transfer is that i just don't think he would have succeeded here. certainly not the way he did at oklahoma facing junior high defenses. i'm not sure he finishes the season behind our line, and i actually think we were a better team with a durable mond than we would have been under murray. perhaps i'm vastly undervaluing kyler though.

i'm just not sure he could have had the kind of year he did anywhere but ou in that conference. so props to him, and his dad, because that transfer just paid off big time.

I think this is wishful reasoning, had he stayed here I don’t think he would’ve won the heisman and gone #1. I do think he would’ve improved and might even have been a decent starter for us, but he wouldn’t have put up the gaudy numbers like he did at OU.

He’s still a little punk for transferring out after Kyle did and essentially being handed the starting job, but there’s no denying it ended up being a good decision for him.

Count me in the group that thinks he won’t be a good NFL qb and if he doesn’t, him and Kliff will be on the same sinking ship out of Arizona. But I was truly shocked they hired Kliff in the first place, I don’t see how anybody thought he was a good hire. Will be interesting to see how the next few seasons play out for them.

He would’ve had moments of greatness but the SEC would’ve never let him have the same level of success, defenses are just too fast.

Kinda seems like Trayveon messed up leaving early.

Finally taken by the Bengals in 6th round (9th pick). Oof.

Trayveon's stock is as high as it would've been. Who really fricked up is Dodson.

6th round was the highest his stock would be? Have to disagree with that.

I think everyone knew Dodson's move was a bad idea as soon as he announced it.

He was slotted to go higher than 6th round but he dropped there anyways, not to mention this is a relatively weak running back class

His main knock was he is undersized and I think he's done growing

Never had one before, Cullen is the first 12th man.

I don’t think treyveon would’ve improved his stock anymore, he could’ve had another really good season but he just didn’t get the media hype.

Dodson I thought would at least get picked up 5-7 but should’ve stayed to get better, I guess he really should’ve stayed since he didn’t get drafted at all.

Really thought at least one of our LBs would’ve gotten drafted somewhere in the later rounds. That’s unfortunate.

In other news, Thomas Johnson’s murder trial is set to finally begin this week according to someone on the other site. Damn tragedy what happened there back in 2015, can’t believe it took this long to get him “mentally cleared” or whatever the term is so he can stand trial.

I don’t hate the kid, and knew he would be great at ou in the big 12, but I must not be seeing something that others are because I think he’s going to be Terrible in the nfl. Like at best a backup qb. I think his selection gets a lot of people fired at Arizona in a few years.

This.

I would take him as a project QB; maybe he ends up good, but he's small. Really small.

He should have taken his offer with the MLB and gone that route.
