Forget about sports for a minute. Ever since Sharp took over, he has been hell bent on turning our beloved institution into a degree mill. Ever since our enrollment skyrocketed, we have been taking on students who have Texas Tech and UofH credentials. Some of the freshman walking around campus have no business being there in the first place.
We all laughed at the UT system when they cried about Rick Perry's appointments, but we should have joined them in protest at the time. A public university's enrollment should never be used as a way of generating money. We got fricking oil money for fricks sake!

Texas A&M System Chancellor since 2011. In 1998, he was the Democrat Challenger to Rick Perry for the position of Lieutenant Governor. They were roommates at A&M.

Sharp didn't start the downward spiral though.
Until 2007, the Chancellor was seen and not heard. This bullshite all started with Mike McKinney. Sharp just accelerated it.
Prior to that, no Chancellor would dare overrule Robert Gates.

Well, my first call this morning was my mom telling me that Young and Woodward were leaving together
I made the above post with that assumption still in mind.
