quote:kawhi leonard has an injury. there are two different types of it, one is more minor than the other and its really easy to confuse the two. san antonios doctors are telling the spurs its the more minor injury and that he could play right now and be fine. kawhis doctors are saying its the more serious injury and that kawhi cant play so hes sitting out
Care to catch me up on this?
its caused a really big rift between the two sides and its very likely that kawhi will be traded this summer because of it

Wow, he’s their future....

Only if he wants to be.
It's crazy that this is happening in San Antonio with a star with an even more reserved personality than Tim Duncan. At a time when the torch was truly passed and Kawhi was projected to have an MVP caliber season. Drama came out of left field.
It's like we're making up for the last 18 years of drama free basketball
Even the Duncan to Orlando drama wasn't this bizarre.

Don’t worry, Big Bro Rockets are the perfect role model for stability

Sorry, but it'll take years for either the Dallas Mavericks or the Fertitta Rockets to even come close to matching the late 90s - mid 2010's Spurs dynasty. If one NBA team screams stability, it is the Spurs. Only other dynasties that overshadow it is the ones from the Lakers, Celtics, and Bulls.
Having said that, Charles Barkley is 100% right about that town

Do you think any NBA owners want to give some random fan the time of day?
Les was a fantastic owner and did everything he could to win. Tillman seems to be doing the same with giant spin on it.

I have no issues with Fertitta pouring billions into our pro basketball team
None at all
None at all

Actually, yeah. I've met one of the minority owners for the Spurs and he was a really down to earth dude.
Mark Cuban is an a-hole, but he is the people's a-hole. The guy interacts with his fans and isn't scared to go ape-shite alongside his fellow pompous Southern Oklahomanites.

Les was not a fantastic owner. He was just a good businessman. In his later years, he was more obsessed with putting on a show for the fans than actually winning. He didn't care about defense and just wanted to excite fans with 100+ point games, winning championships be damned. Exciting games = larger crowds.
If the Spurs taught us anything, it's that offense makes for an exciting game but defense wins championships. The Spurs may have been a boring team to watch, but they just won.
Luckily for Les, most other NBA teams agreed with him and defense has become a foreign concept throughout the league. All you see now is 110+ point games night in and out. Not my cup of tea. Once in a while? Sure, but not every fricking night
Tilman just walked into the perfect storm where everything has aligned well for the franchise. In a funny way, his first year of ownership resembles that of Leslie's. Everything has been done for him.
Someone call me when the NBA switches commissioner and begins to play defense

That is a whole lot of nonsense you just posted. You seem to be really reaching in strange ways.

Rocket customers

Posted on 4/22/18 at 11:20 am to Texas Weazel
If that’s your view then anyone not apart of ownership is a customer for a pro team. Doesn’t seem like a way to enjoy sports to me.
Posted on 4/22/18 at 11:32 am to Texas Weazel
Yeah I’m not triggered at all. You know absolutely nothing about pro sports and clearly don’t follow them. It shows in basically every post you make on the subject. Houston fans are easy to troll on and upset, you’re just bad at it because you don’t know what you’re talking about

I got two live ones!
