I find it hilarious that two or three weeks ago the whole board was giving texas shite about moral victories when they lost to USC, now that whole premium board is one big fricking moral victory party.
My thread bumps earned me a timeout.

The impossible just happened.
In order for the US to fail to qualify for the world cup, the following had to happen tonight:
Honduras win against Mexico
Panama win against Costa Rica
Trinidad and Tobago win against the U.S.
All three had to happen, and all three did.
See you in 2022.

I'm melting real hard. This fricking SUCKS. There is a small, finite amount of WCs I will get to see the US play in, and one just got taken away.

Root for the Fatherland
On a serious note... it'll suck to not have a good reason to get up and drink at 5AM this summer

Tbird, I once argued with you that if any music artists have to advertise themselves as Christian they're terrible by default. I'm not sure that they truly advertise themselves as "Christian rappers," but the Magic & Bird album is sick, so I'll half eat crow:

Dude there are some Incredible Christian artists
Or was the argument just about Christian rappers? Cause I really don't listen to secular or Christian rap

If memory serves, the debate was over Christian artists in general.
I think I conceded that the talent on that front was pretty spotty 25 years ago, but contended that the talent today was on par with secular.

My argument was that if an artist bills themselves as a “Christian” artist, then they’re not good by default. If they’re any good, they should just be able to bill themselves by genre (rock, rap, country, etc) but have Christian lyrics.
Anyways, the whole Magic & Bird album is sick, I can’t believe it doesn’t have more listens. It’s just flat out good rap with some Christian lyrics here and there. It doesn’t come off as pandering which is my issue with music billed as Christian music.

That's an incredibly uneducated position to take, there are so many Christian artists that could make a fortune in mainstream music
