So am I the only one that doesn't "get" the whole dude perfect thing? It's always come across lame as hell to me and yet people still make a big deal out of it.

No. Anybody can make any of those shots if they try it 1000 times. I hate that they act like its the first attempt in the videos.

Exactly. I mean it's the whole schtick but it just seems lame to me. It's all obviously staged so I don't get the point. Am I supposed to be impressed? Am I supposed to just laugh? I feel like I'm watching a mexican soap opera. I don't even know what they are going for.

They're just guys having fun (full disclosure: two of them are friends of mine). They're good guys who love TAMU and represent us in a nontraditional way--by just being themselves.
You don't have to "get" it to appreciate what they're doing, IMO.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I think it's great that he (they?) are repping A&M like that and that people like it.
But I still don't understand the appeal at all. I honestly have no idea why anyone would want to watch it or be excited by it.

It always gets me in the forearms
I hold the record in the Post Oak Mall Chuck E. Cheese (last I checked) and the C-Stat CiCi's Pizza basketball games.
Although I worked at CiCi's so it wasn't really fair--I got lots of practice

Mack and Texas did not part ways amicably. IIRC, Sally threw away all of Mack's Texas memorabilia from his office during the move out.
